Thanks for a Renewal of Vows
We recently renewed our wedding vows and until Tamara came along we were a bit bewildered about where to start! Her knowledge and advice steered us in the right direction. Her help and support through the planning was brilliant and she wrote a beautiful service for us. Thank you for all of your help and for making our day perfect.
Dear Tamara,
A very heartfelt thank you to you for being our Celebrant. You were truly brilliant. It's never easy when you are bidding farewell to a loved relative and I am very grateful for the sensitive, gentle, warm, compassionate and positive way you delivered the words, which certainly left us and the rest of the congregation with happy memories of the times shared and enabled us to make the event very much as Mam would have wished. I especially appreciated the way you listened so carefully to my story and encapsulated it in your own words. The sun was shining and all the people that mattered to Mam were there.
We are completely sure we gave Mam the best send-off we could and are so thankful for it. Everyone who was there came away with such a positive sense of a life well-lived.
The funeral has been such an important and positive part of the grieving process, despite the profound sadness and our memories of it will help us in the hard days to come. Thank you for all that you said on Monday, it was truly lovely and it was so my Mam.
Please accept my sincere thanks for leading our mother's funeral ... I had never attended a civil funeral before so was a little anxious before the ceremony took place, however, my anxieties were immediately allayed because you delivered mum's eulogy with such eloquence and dignity. You do an incredibly worthwhile but difficult job, meeting people for the first time at what is probably the saddest, most stressful and emotional time of their lives but you were so kind and understanding to us all. I am sorry if we left things until the last minute and probably gave you more information about our brave mum than you needed but once again, thank you.
I wanted to send you an email to thank you for the funeral service you conducted last week for [my friend]. It was such a well thought out and illuminating speech and I know it lifted everybody there.
Firstly, let me on behalf of [my children] and the [whole] family, thank you once again for the most wonderful tribute to [my husband]. Absolutely everyone enjoyed listening to you relate the past times of his full and varied life. Lots of laughs, a few tears, but all happy memories from one and all.
Altogether, it was a perfect day and way to say goodbye to [my husband].
Finally, Tamara, thank you again. The Funeral Director couldn't have recommended a nicer person to do the service. It was all and more than [my husband] would have hoped for.
I would also like to thank you for leading such a lovely service for my dad; so many people commented on how personal it felt and how good your reading was. You made what was a very sad day more bearable.
I wonder if perhaps you have walked by our sides without our knowledge? You have absolutely captured Mam, what you have written is perfect, powerful and so very beautiful, a true and humbling description of her.
At the moment words fail me, not something that happens often! I have cried the most glorious tears reading your tribute, reminded again of how blessed we are!
Thank you so much for the beautiful service for Mam, we cannot tell you what it means to us, your beautifully balanced and warmly delivered tribute allowed us to truly, enjoy the experience, and that at this time is so precious!

It was a very small gathering, as we thought it would be, but it was so perfect in every way. It was just as he would have wanted. We all said what a brilliant service you gave. His life in a nut shell. We said how you met with us and put this together so quickly and accurately. It is also so lovely to be able to keep a copy in his memory box.
